Oftentimes, we are asked by our clients about restaurants and attractions to visit while out on the lake. Generally, the lake is the attraction in and of itself. However, there are exceptions: Kentucky/Barkley Lakes, Erie Canal, Sanibel/Captiva Islands, and Lake Shuswap (to name a few) all offer nearby restaurants or attractions for you to stop along the waterway while you're out on your houseboat.
Lake Powell, on the Utah/Arizona border, has been known for its magnificent beauty and the splendor of its history as well as the natural wonders along the waterline. There is a floating Village at Antelope Point marina, near Page, Arizona, which features a full service restaurant, lounge and cafe. There hasn't been much for commercial business at Wahweap Marina...until now.
A new floating restaurant, "Latitude 37" is scheduled to open on July 25, 2013 at Wahweap Marina, also near Page, Arizona. The restaurant will serve upscale American cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and will feature a full bar. Latitude 37 will have indoor as well as outdoor seating all overlooking the spectacular views of Castle Rock, Navajo Mountain, and Wahweap Bay. The best part is, the restaurant will be accessible by foot or by boat. Give the cook a night off and pull your houseboat right up to a nearby slip to enjoy this new exciting lakeside restaurant.
So who's hungry?
