We currently rent for 3 different companies between 6 different marinas on Kentucky's famed Lake Cumberland. Each with their own variety of houseboat models, pricing, and features. It's easy to get overwhelmed when you're trying to decide which will be best for wants, needs, and budget. That's where we come in.
There are 29 different houseboat models on Lake Cumberland. So how do you narrow it down?
Jamestown, Beaver Creek, and Burnside Marinas:
More options for smaller groups
Pet friendly
Range from basic to luxurious features
Cost effective
State Dock or Wolf Creek Marinas:
The only marina that rents houseboats for groups of 12 or more
Economic and luxurious options
Pet Friendly
Lee's Ford Marina:
Afordable cottage houseboats, like home on the water
Great options if you'd rather not pilot the houseboat yourself, for more of a "boatel" experience
The marina's location on the lake may also narrow down your options if you have a preference of what part of the lake you'd like to stay on. For example: Jamestown and State Dock Marinas are near the State Park area, in the main area of the lake, which is a popular spot. There are lots of coves and inlets near Beaver Creek Marina, and it is fairly close to Seventy-Six Falls. Lees Ford and Burnside Marinas are on the eastern tips of the lake near Somerset, KY, in a narrow area perfect if you're looking to be in a quieter, slower paced environment.
We're here to help you wade through the options and find the best houseboat to suit your group. Give your friendly houseboating agents a call at 888-454-8825 or send an Online Request and we'll call you!
