Only 20 minutes from Tri-cities, WA, and just a few hours' drive from Portland or Seattle, Lake Sacajawea is the place to go for fishing and any other water sports and activities in the area. The lake was formed by the Ice Harbor Lock and Dam on the Lower Snake River in southeastern Washington state.

The River Ranch Marina is located in Charbonneau Park, a recreation area with camping, hiking, and biking opportunities. The park was named for Toussaint Charbonneau, who was an interpreter for explorers Lewis and Clark, and husband of Sacajawea.

Have fun on the slide off the back of the houseboat, or take your powerboat out for some tubing, waterskiing, wakeboarding, or just explore the area. Fishing is also a popular pastime at Lake Sacajawea; anglers will find excellent salmon and steelhead fishing in these waters.

Take your pick of sandy beaches to pull your houseboat up to, among beautiful views of surrounding vineyards and orchards. There are over 160 wineries in the area, as well as U-pick blueberries, sweet corn, and apples.

The 59' Sumerset Houseboat is a spacious houseboat that will comfortably accommodate 12 people with 2 private, and 2 semi-private staterooms, and 1 and a half baths, but you can have up to 20 on board if you have a larger group. It has upgraded features such as granite counter tops, tile floor, a 20 cu.ft. refrigerator/freezer and even a flat screen TV in the main salon. Note: the houseboats are not allowed on the Columbia River; houseboats must stay within the boundaries of Lake Sacajawea on the east side of the Ice Harbor Dam on the Snake River.

Take your powerboat through one of the tallest locks in the world, the Ice Harbor Lock and Dam, and travel like Lewis and Clark as the Snake River converges with the Columbia. There are also several riverside restaurants with dock side access to enjoy upstream.

With so much to do both on and off the water, Lake Sacajawea is a great option for your next houseboat vacation!
